We couldn't be happier with this school. The academic standard is very high, and there is a spirit of acceptance and tolerance for all students that seems to be missing from many high schools. I have yet to encounter an unreasonable staff member. Everyone from teachers to administrators to students to

Because of the 4 x 4 scheduling at CCA, I am able to take the classes that I want, largely in the order that I want. In high school, many of my colleagues have no idea what they want to do in their time beyond CCA, and you are given the opportunity to explore different options, as well as take challenging

The kids are close and being original and 'yourself' is prized, not derided. It is not uncommon to have juniors hanging out with sophomores and even freshman. The cliques present at TPHS are not as prevalent. The envision arts program is amazing with students taking classes from teaching artists in all sorts of fine and performing arts fields. The teachers are enthusiastic because they wanted to be here. Read less

My child chose to go to CCA because of the outstanding arts programs that are offered. Other high schools in the area don't have enough programs for the aspiring actor/musician etc. CCA does have a wonderful feel to it, and the students are all relaxed, and get along!
