One thing I really like is the daily Morning Assembly, where students line up w/their class on the blacktop at the start of each school day for the Pledge of Allegiance, a song and important announcements. It makes you feel really tuned in, as a parent. I am sad to say, though, that Mr. T is not returning to Bay Park this coming school year. The new principal has some big shoes to fill! Read less

The teacher is in constant contact with us and the principal, Mr. T. is the most involved and concerned principal we have dealt with. All of my children went to Bay Park. Two of my children did well and enjoyed the school. The early grade teachers (K through 2) are fantastic as well as an amazing 5th grade teacher. My children loved him! We would like to have had extracurricular activites, but there weren't any (at that time). The

One of my children had learning disabilities and I do NOT reccomend Bay Park for children with special needs. Check out other programs and meet the resource specialist before enrolling. I wish I would have done that. My son hated school. He left the school and did much better in another program. Bay Park is an excellent school with the guidance of Mr T the new principle. A great school not only requires great teachers but also parents that contribute. Bay Park encourages parent involvement at the school. One parent volunteer to does a choir class before school starts at 830am. Another has
... Read more a running jogging for students at 830am. A lot of volunteer parents and volunteer teachers get together for the annual Halloween carnival, donating time and baked goods. The school allows girl scouts and boy scouts meeting at the school. If you are considering Bay Park for your kids then stop by and see the school. The teachers are caring and encourage the children. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course.
