... Read more loving and encouraging to my daughter. She always responds to our emails promptly and with positive and helpful insights. My daughter enjoys going to school everyday. Arundel also has very active parents participation. They get a lot of extracurricular activities, and we enjoy them so much. Coming from a private school with supposedly more advanced academic background, my daughter never complains about being bored here. She is actually excited about all the new things she is learning. My child has attended k-3rd grade so far at Arundel. My daughter is 4th generation at Arundel. My mother was the first to attend Arundel in the 1950's. I always knew i wanted my daughter to be at Arundel. I heard nothing but great things about it before i even had children. She is now finishing up the first grade and is very happy there. ... Read more egg, which was in an incubator in the class for the whole school year. When the last month of school was winding down, their duck hatched, and they each got to take a picture holding the new little duckie that they watched and learned about everyday. Arundel is an outstanding elementary school. I attribute it to 1/ a caring, active and creative principal 2/ parents very involved 3/ something not often mentioned, a great location with a 'nook' feeling, plenty of trees and heathy park close by - this contributes to kids well-being. Top notch.

Our daughter is attending kindergarten at Arundel. We are very impressed with the level of parent involvement. Her teacher is very organized and has a great program of activities of the kids. Also the kids well disciplined.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
