I have taught at gavilan view for 11 years. The administrators and office staff work very hard as do the vast majority of the teachers. A big thrust at the school is to keep lines of communication open with the parents via phone calls and e-mails. Our top focus is may state testing test scores and

We also provide a lot of extracurricular activities to keep students contstuctively involved and out of trouble if they so choose. These include sports, field trips, and clubs. There is a small fee involved for these activities. The district desperately needs another middle school as gavilan view's student population has doubled in size..It's crowded. As for student behavior the school needs more support from the district in this area. Read less

This is a very good school because it has a lot of different extra classes like french, spanish, japaneese, drama, art. It has a lot of different teams. The principles are very nice and so are the teachers. The disipline in this school is kind of strict but I think its good.
