I am currently a student at Rosemont. I love the block schedule, I'm a senior now and can say I've done great with it. I only have to worry about 4 classes at a time, which is great considering I play sports in the spring. Also, its really easy to be apathetic towards school when you do the same mundane
... Read more things every day. So it's like a fresh start all over in February when we have new classes. Eight classes a year is great too! Not only do we get the core classes completed, we can have some electives as well. Most of the teachers are great, and the campus is kept clean. The SLCs are a joke though, and they should get rid of them. They didn't help me for a future career!Altogether its a good school though. Read less

I am very happy with the block schedule & disappointed that it may not be offered next year. The block scedule allows for my child to focus on fewer classes at a time for a longer period in each class but less time over the course of the year. I have been impressed with the quality of his teachers &

With a thriving PTSA, great teachers, unbelievable campus (pool, gyms, music wing, etc.) and very positive support staff, I feel that Rosemont is an excellent school choice. The block schedule does not meet the educational needs of most students, and the school is simply using the schedule and the students to maximize funding. Freshman Counselor Mr. Kroeger seemed to be the only administrator with any heart, and many of the teachers I encountered were either dismissive

I just enrolled my children n Rosemont and I was very disappointed to find out that there are no AP or Honors Science courses and a very small selection of these courses overall. The lack of such classes decrease a students chance of above 4.0 gpa and does not allow for a competitive edge when applying

I am a student at this school currently, and find it very welcoming and a more happy school than most. With many ways to get us as students to get involved and have a great high school experience. The major downside is the amount of freshmen and sophomores to juniors and seniors.
