SVMS is such a great school! I started here for 7th in the Fall of 2008, and I absolutely loved my 7th grade year! It was so much fun in the Galaxy academy! The teachers were so nice and fun and everything they should be! My friends and I always complained about why we had to run so much in PE, but it

It is a great school! The teachers are great, especially the ones in Omega. P.E. is awful, there is an excessive amount of running and I always come home with blisters. But the lunches are pretty good, and everybody is really close. I've made so many great memories here and I am so sad to leave!

It has personally helped me reach my full potential and can't wait to someday become a teacher there. Two thumbs up!

I've had 5 children go through Spring View, 1 going now & one coming next year. Positive things - 1. After school homework program. 2. On-site (and nearly free) after-school program. 3. Teachers have grades online so you can keep track of homework, test scores, current grade. Not-So-Positive
... Read more things - 1. The amount of homework can be excessive! At times even I, as a parent, resent the amount of homework. It is time consuming! 2. The discipline policy enforcement at Spring View is much higher than at the elementary school level and higher even than when they move on to high school. 7th grade should be a time of transition where students take on a new level of responsibility and the level should increase from there. At Spring View, the transition from the local elementary schools is rather harsh. All of my kids have had problems in the beginning. Read less

A bit heavy on the homework, but the teachers are nice except for two i have had problems with. I think the teachers should go lighter on the after-school work, they dont take into account that we have lives, they think we go home, do our homework, take a shower and go to bed.
