I attended Gage and I was happy with it. I think their is a good falculty in place and I enjoyed coming to school. I do however wish that they had more extra curriculars and I was very dissapointed in the Primtime program. I was also disappointed on the maintence. But other than that I had a good experience.

School is great, staff is also okay, however faculties are kept in mediocre-at-best condition, with bathrooms continuously unsanitary, along with poor maintenence on older wings. Otherwise a good school, with great PE program, and the curriculum is excellent. Lots of programs for parents, including

My second child is attending this school. My older daughter, a junior in high school also attended this middle school. My son is currently taking all advanced classes. On the average, there is at least 5 hours of homework a nite, along with complicated and very time consuming projects, which he only

My child transferred here, half-way thru the year, and I must say after hearing how great Riverside schools were, I was sadly, disappointed. The school counselor did not take the time to introduce a new child entering a school long after everyone else has, nor did she take the time to tell my child
... Read more about any of the extra curricular activities the school has to offer. My child was left to fend for himself, like a fish out of water, and this is a touchy age for them to approach others. As any parent knows, the sooner a child makes friends and gets involved in these activities, the better. When I tried to get the information from the administration, they gave me that 'look' alot of parents fully understand, which means they simply do not have the time, to help. I understand they have children with 'real' issues to deal with, but they should not ignore the other children. Gage would do well to pay a visit to the nearby school Vista Heights middle school in Moreno Valley. They have figured out a way to have an involved administration, a good teaching staff, and get all of the kids involved in activities. This makes an exciting atmosphere for learning. Thankfully, Gage appears to have an awesome teaching staff. It's just too bad they don't have the balance of the administration needed to really make it a great school. Read less
