Pleasant Grove is a good school and the teachers are good. The 8th grade excellerated class is one that I would not recommend. The class is not difficult but I have not learned anything in it. You will not get much homework except in Math. Like every school we have had to have the police come, and there

As I read through the reviews, there seems to be a pattern. Either You love Pleasent Grove or you hate it, no middle ground. We personally very much love the school and it's staff. This school is an abomination of education. The principal and vice principal are very friendly and have openly shown it on the student run newspaper. I happen to be concerned about the fights and sexual harrasment cases!

I agree with the last comment. This school needs a principal who will stand up for his student's needs, not the needs of the district to get kids passed off to the next grade when they are not ready. I believe the teacher's are good. It has been very difficult keeping in touch with most of them. Communication

Pleasent Grove is home to many outstanding, qualified teachers that go above and beyond to work with and help students achieve their academic goals. We can't wait to get out of this school. Once your child is categorized, there is no way to change it. The vice Principal is the only one to be encouraging. Children cannot thrive in a negative environment. The communication I received from one of her teachers was down right discouraging. A student
