I would say I would rather have my children attend at another school. This school is under new leadership and better quality of staff and education can be found at other school locations through out the district.Plus if you have a Junior HIgh kid, this school has no air conditioning on the Junior High ...  Read more

This schools values and beliefs are great on paper. However, they are totally lost in the actual translation. Terrible choice as the school has been edging toward shut down multiple times. Children laying down in the middle of the street, completely unsupervised, while they switch classes from one campus ...  Read more

My son has come from a private school where I have paid a TON of money for a great education. I wish this school could provide k-12 as a free charter school. He always hated he loves school and is just doing amazingly well. He now understands and likes math! He is more responsible and ...  Read more

A 5 star rating in our hearts and about a 41/2 in truth.(More funding = more resources for students; we do what we can) There is a good mix of students from Redlands and surrounding communities. Parents who feel strongly about a well rounded education and willing to both volunteer their time and commute ...  Read more

All students are known to all teachers/staff. The interplay between grades works well. I especially like that the ...  Read more

My daughter attended Grove for her Sophomore year and now currently her Junior Year. I do like the smaller school atmosphere, field trips, community service and student planned trips known as Winterim. I am a little disappointed with a couple of teachers. Most of the teachers are motivating and professional ...  Read more

The Grove charter high school is the school of the future. We looked for years for an opportunity like this for our children. With small class size & one-on-one help available they enjoy learning without fear & intimidation. They are taught to be responsible, self motivated learners & to think 'outside ...  Read more

I have two children in Grove School and I believe that they are absolutely thriving. They are taught to be self sufficient and are prepared for the real world. Grove raises the future leaders of our community, not simply the future Members of our Community. I can't give the staff and teachers enough ...  Read more

I feel Redlands High School is one of best schools in the state. Teacher and parent involvement is extremely high. They have many sports and band class.

Test Year: 2012
Grove School
Redlands Unified School District
* In 2011-2012 California used the California Standards Tests (CSTs) to test students in English language arts in grades 2 through 11; math in grades 2 through 7; science in grades 5, 8 and 10; and history-social science in grades 8 and 11. Middle and high school students also took subject-specific CSTs in math and science, depending on the course in which they were enrolled. The CSTs are standards-based tests, which means they measure how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of California. The goal is for all students to score at or above proficient on the tests.
