While we're extremely happy with the academics, there is so much more. They teach kids real values. Kindness, compassion, responsibility, and respect are all key pillars of RSA's foundation. Instilling a love of and appreciaiton for music and the arts helps cement those academic lessons and makes for a very well rounded child. Redding School of the Arts is a great school. The teachers are top notch and their curriculum is always new and up to date. (most important to us as parents) the only 'problem' we have is that another charter school has in the last couple of years has moved into the same building and has helped themselfs to whatever classrooms they have wanted.(Not very nice) this problem will be solved very soon as the constrution of a brand new school just for r.S.A. RSA has provided an education specific to my children's abilities and the principal and teachers have been very proactive in furthering my children's skills. After having my concerns ignored at another school in the district, switching my children to RSA was a great breath of relief and satisfaction

I could not pay to have a better education for my children. The school has been an amazing asset to all three of my children. They have been challenged mentally and well cared for emotionally. Each teacher has brought something new and exciting to the table. My kids love to go to school!

This is an outstanding school where you can be at ease knowling your child is receiving an excellent education and will grow academically, creatively and socially. The use of art in learning the basics really helps cement concepts in my daughters mind. She has truly blossomed at RSA. Music classes
... Read more are taught every day- if you have a chance to sit in on one you will be amazed. 5 and 6 year olds are playing music beautifully and understand concepts such as tone and tempo. Whole school trips that focus on fun and educations give kids opportunities to learn and parents opportunities to get to know each other. Parents being really involved in their children's educations are the rule at RSA rather than the exception. Make an appointment to visit a classroom and observe- it is well worth the time. Read less

RSA teaches to the highest common denominator by placing students at their level of learning ability. They continually challenge my children to excel at an individual level. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
