My son recently started Kindergarten at Columbia. So far, I have been extremely impressed. He absolutely loves it there! Also, I have been amazed at how much he has learned in such a short period of time. I am very impressed with his teacher and the office staff.

I have had three children attend Columbia from Kindergarten up, my third child now in his last year (5th grade) there. Columbia is a nice, country-ish style of school. All of the teachers and staff there greet me by first name. They have always encouraged parent involvement. Great field trips. One
... Read more thing to note in particular, Columbia School district is a very small district, just Columbia and Mountain View Middle School. That, in my opinion, allows them to come up with unique policies (Mountain View is considered very strict)and most recently grading guidelines. Read less

... Read more way to make children and parents feel welcome. Mrs. Hall, his teacher has been a wonderful teacher and keeps parents very imformed about their children. She loves her students and makes their education fun. She goes out of her way at making them feel important and loved. I am very pleased with the education my child has recieved at columbia. Our son has been attending Columbia for the past 4 months. The learning experience has been a positive one however the schools disciplinary policies are subject. My son came home three days one week telling us about a bully who had been picking on him so we contacted school and let them know. They did
... Read more nothing so we informed our son that he has the right to protect himself so the next day he did. The school suspended our child and did nothing to the other child. As a parent we want to know that our children are protected at school and will receive fair treatment. Our son is not getting this from Columbia. Hopefully things will get better Read less

We moved into Columbia school district 3 years ago, it was a blessing for our children. We had previous negative experiences, Columbia gave our children the positive learning experience they were needing. All of the teachers and faculty have been fantastic. We now have to move out of state and leaving

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
