Las Flores is a wonderful school. We have had 4 kids go through and 1 more to go. Most of the teachers are great and the work is challanging. 3 of my kids are in the GATE/AAA program and that program has been especially good. I know all of my kids have been well prepared for high school. The only

If you have great kids that don't misbehave and need minimal supervision, this school will work for you. If you have kids that need a firm hand and a bit of individual assistance, forget it. It's a tail wagging the dog classroom culture with no teacher discipline. They use detentions which are ineffective.

They need less muddled general organization and more effective Positive help and Inspiration. Come on Las Flores, get some backbone in your classrooms! Wow! This school is awesome! We have recently moved here from New York, and my kids (aged 11 and 13) have loved it! The orchestra teacher is probably best in the nation, and the orchestras are ten times better than even an average high school orchestra! LFMS definently has tons of potential, and

The middle school and elementary school share the same campus, although the students are segregated to a point. The campus is the standard open campus, lunch is taken outside except on those rare days that have rain. Due to proposition 13 in the 70s, all California school districts are short of money,

I believe this school has plenty of potential, but I would recommend to pick better staff (the teachers)! Over all I think this school is very nice, but they do not like much parent involvment and not very many extracurricular activies are offered to the students.

This school is absolutely unbelievable. Great techers, great environment, and a great front office. I would say it is the best I've seen and that's something because I've seen over 500! Moving here just for the school wouldn't be bad, not to mention the city is great! My hats off to the front office

Las Flores Middle School is one of the greatest, most efficient schools I have ever had the opportunity to go to! It teaches a whole variety of students. The orchestra teacher, for example, is an exceptional musician, and has made all three Las Flores Orchestras best in state. School pride days are always fun to participate in, and neatness is a priority. Our school is also beautiful, with a large field for Physical Education. Las Flores is a California distinguished school, and so is its neighboring elementary school. Lastly, there is a huge selection of elective classes, such as student council, diffrent types of musical groups, and home economics. LFMS is a awesome school! Read less
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. AP classes are specific and not to be confused with other higher-level classes such as honors classes.
Before/After School
