My children went to Horizon Prep this fall (2008). I wished I listened to others that told me how horrible this school was. The teachers are poorly trained. The administration does not know how to handle issues. They preach Jesus, but only certain people have to adhere to. The president/pastor/founder

We love this school! Our new Headmaster, Dr. K. has made so many improvements. The elementary school is only 5 years old and every year gets better. Don't listen to anyone who has not been here the last two years. My kids are thriving here and they feel like they are valued by their peers and teachers.

Our children have been at Prep for two years and have grown both academically and spiritually. The small enviornment lends itself to individualized instruction. This school is amazing. The academics are outstanding. Our son is in the 4th grade and is performing at mid-6th grade math level and reading at a 6th grade level. This school is challenging him to reach his potential. Additionally, the environment is nurturing, loving and supportive for those kids

What an incredible blessing it has been to have our kids at Horizon Prep this year! My kids have never been happier in school. The academics are much higher than other private schools in the area. With the high quality of teachers and curriculum, my kids are now excited to attend school every day
... Read more because they are having fun learning and are never bored. The administration is wonderful and it is exciting to hear that they have an incredible plan and vision for the school. My kids say the students are much nicer here--it is a sweet group of children that are constantly guided in Biblical principles. There is no perfect school, but this one is close! It was always met with unwarranted hostility and judgement. I would not recommend this school to anyone based on it is run as a dictatorship with unprofessional leaders. If they treated people with respect and love, they could have avoided many of these past problems. Read less

I can't wait for the year to be over. We were told how bad this schools was, but that was an understatement. Our children have been bullied and the school has done nothing to deal with it. Looking back at some of the comments from this board, I wish we had listened.... Unless you want to pay for therapy

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. Before/After School

Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
