School is not academic enough. For the price, it should have a stronger curriculum. The teachers seem overwhelmed, with high turnover rates among staff, and the small group of PTA runs the school (good and bad).

Carden West is a great day care! This is a fact no one may challenge. Given the nice huge building with secure closed doors every where, safty issues were satisfied completly. ... Read more School is definitly trailing behind puplic school in the area. It has been always argued that small class size may work to the advange of students. Let us all think: what is the definition of a small class size? who crafted the numbers of 20 or 15 or 10 students to be the optimim size of a class. Which kind of studies support 20 or 15 or 10? Please take a time and think about this issue. You may discover that a 20 student class size is infact the optimal class size after all. more later. Read less

We have found the administration and the board of directors to be extremely approachable and they have been totally responsive to any issues that we have had to discuss with them. ... Read more other schools in the tri-valley area. Teachers are dedicated and customize the curriculum to each individual student s aptitude and interest. They challenge the students as needed, dramatically improving their performance while also improving self esteem and confidence. They provide a host of after school programs that further round up the development of our kids. Read less

We made the change to public mid-year due to unchallenging curriculum and the lack of cooperation from the admistration when we tried to address our concerns. Both the board and the adminstration were unresponsive to our concerns. Our family contributed a lot of time & money to this school. It was unappreciated and under recognized. Policies are inconsistant and change with the moods of the admisitrators. Overall, a very disappointing experience for our family. We are pleased we are leaving the school. Read less

AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. AP classes are specific and not to be confused with other higher-level classes such as honors classes.
Before/After School
