This is the best school ever. Great teachers, everyone is so helpfull and friendly. My daughters have made such great friends. I feel my child is safe at this school. El Dorado HS is a mediocre school. The entire spirit of the place is just flat and unexceptional. My child has been exposed to classrooms that lack discipline, and there has been a revolving door of teachers in two of her classes. It's not a terrible place, and there are individual teachers that

We have had three kids attend El Dorado High School with the youngest being a Junior.I have found that the Principal is the best we have ever seen. And is a leader by example. And the staff seems to follow his lead. Great School

Academics and sports programs are great. Incredible place to raise children. Smog and crime are minimal. Parents seem to be very involved. Lots of public programs as well (ie. swimming lessons, public pools many others.)

I've had 2 children graduate from EDHS, and the third is a Junior this year. I have to say I'm a little bit sorry that I won't have the interaction with the wonderful, caring staff at EDHS after that. I've always told my children that the educational possibilities are endless, no matter where you go
... Read more to school. All the knowledge you could ever desire is right there inside the walls of that school. The staff at EDHS make learning interesting - My daughter's in the Health Academies program, and I think it's one of the best thing offered at the school. Maybe we've just been lucky, but the extremely exceptional instructors have way outnumbered the bad instructors. The students are motivated daily at EDHS. Read less

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
