VHS is definitely a diamond in the rough, and I could not be happier that my children are lucky enough to attend such a gem of a school. ... Read more in between is beyond excellent. In my opinion, every student is embraced (from the at risk student to the high achiever) and given the tools necessary for success. Students need to do their part, but teachers and counselors will light the path for them and they genuinely and sincerely wish success for each student. Unlike most large schools in our district, the staff makes honest attempts to form connections and relationships with their students. I can not rave enough about this school. Go Tigers! Read less

I am a freshman and came to this school unlike anybody else from my middle school. I am a very outgoing person, but when i came to Valencia I didn't fit in. I was told that i would make friends anywhere i was, but in this case, I wasn't pleased. Great IB and AP courses, but overall I wasn't happy.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
