I am a student that went to this school and is now graduating from pinole valley high school. trust in me when i say pinole middle is a very good school for these kids to attend as most of the teachers develop a strong relationship with the kids and make them think outside of the box which is very important

this school wasnt so good last year but it is getting much better there are a couple of new teachers who seem to really care about the students education plus the saftey at the school is alot better then before with alot more security/yard supervisors. i for one am happy to be attending and graduating

This school is very unorganized, and the horrible behavior of some students seems to really affect others. Many teacher have given up on students because of their 'I don't care about education' attitdue. The teachers and staff are cruel and seem as unedcuated as the students. All misbehaved students
... Read more should be locked down at Pinole Middle as a last resort school, so if you believe your child has what it takes to be successful then sending them here will ruin their chances. Read less

As a student that went to this school, I'd say this school is pretty organized and small! The number of students that attend Pinole Middle School is growing and they need more space to flourish and grow. Luckily this year, construction is taking place of building a large gym as well as a library. Security
... Read more is great but could be doing a tad bit more. Students are doing well and beautifully flourishing. However, there are lots of kids who skips class and goes off to smoke in the bathrooms and do things they shouldn't be doing. Bathrooms should be more clean however it is not 'cancercous'. Just like any school there are good teachers and bad. One teacher sent home a D grade on a progress report but changed the grade to B, after I sent him a note asking why? He had forgotten to add in my childs special project grade. Another teacher forgot to add my childs homework assignment grade to her
... Read more final grade-that got fixed with an email message to her. These problems happened in the beginning of the year and there haven't been any more problems since. There are a few teachers that seem to really take an interest in the students and make an effort to make the assignments fun and interesting and some teachers even run an afterschool tutoring class.The school does have a pretty good afterschool homework/activities program which helps my daughter a lot and that she loves. The API scores really need improvement I think they're working on it. Read less

I believe Pinole Middle School is one of the best school there is out there. The teachers that teach at Pinole Middle School are very rare to find. Most of the students succeed academically from this school because of the outstanding teachers. Keep up the good work!

Advanced Placement
