Let me break it to you, this school is just awful. As a student, I come to school to learn, but at St. Gen's I come to school to fake the whole "this school's the best ever" look. I feel like the principle cares so much about this figure and spends every cent just to look like a "perfect" school. We're

This school focuses on character more than academics. I don't appreciate that we get only 6 weeks of summer vacation- most students are given summer work too. Might as well make it a whole-year-round school since summer passes my super fast. It's unnecessary that we start school so early as July 20 or

I love that the daily school uniform is one that is comfortable for the students to wear and easy to take care of. The coaches of the various sports my son has played are all good people who care about the students. I love that art in several forms are part of the curriculum (hey not everyone is a great singer, actor, musician, dancer, but everyone should try a class). I definitely do not feel happy at St. Genevieve High School. The schedule is far too crazy, and it's even worse now with the new school year starting. Going to school from 8:50 to 2:05 just does not make sense. Evening days of school are also a hassle. And going to school all of August is just crazy.

Although Character Education is great, I feel that Academics are far more important. Read less
