I am the proud parent of a 2007 graduate of Glenn and an anxious parent of an incoming freshman. I have been quite please with the education my child received. CST scores don't lie, in the past 7 years this school has continued to improve. My child felt safe, encouraged and challenged while at Glenn.

I'm currently a senior at Glenn and its not like everyone thinks. Its actually a great school. There's plenty of great teachers there and good consolers. The principle isn't the best, but hey no one's perfect. The way I see it, you can't blame the school. Students are going to do what they want. I know

I am a mother of two kids who attend this school for two years. I graduated 2003 and all I have to say is this is not the high school to send your kids. The principal is horrible and has favorites. As for learning, all they do is hand you handouts explain what's on the handouts and that's it. There really
... Read more isn't any challenge given to the students. Do the work and they pass. Don't get me wrong there are a few teachers that are great teachers. But overall, avoid this school. I'd grade the principal below average. Maybe if they change the principal, this school will actually succeed into something. Read less

I dont agree , with the rest of the people,. that say that this school , can use more parent involvement , I am a parent of 2 kids, that go to Glenn , One is a Senior and one a freshmen, and they try to involve us as much as possible, it's up to the students if they want there parents to get involved

This school does not have much parent involvement which is sad because they could do so much more if it did. The quality of academic programs is very poor and most of the teachers are absoulutely horrible.

I think John Glenn High has a nice learning enviornment even though stuff happens around, with all that students go through at this age and all the problems a school has to have, this is a nice school.Most teachers are really comprehensive and strict on the requiered times.Counselours (at least mine)

Read more are really helpful and are always there when you need them.On the other hand ,some of us students at time do not know how to behave on certain times but are really proud to attend a school like Glenn.The only thing is that there are too many students,which makes it hard for us, students, as well as for the staff, to control the people running over people trying to get to class before the third bell rings.Over all John Glenn is how a high school should be; packed with kids, too mean and too nice teachers, some trouble makers, nerds, kids with disabilities and a schedule in which you have to study a lot if you want to pass this school year. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course.
