Abysmal attempt at education. This school offers proof that mediocrity is an ideal that soars in the sky. The Principal is a proto moron and many of the teachers could be easily replaced with custodians and one would never know the difference by 'academic' achievement.

This is the worst school my child has ever atteneded. The teachers or the principal do not care. The standards are very very low.

The school is not consistent in its policies or academic practices. The principal seems to think she knows more than the experts who create specific academic programs. CST* Test Scores

Grade Level:

Test Year: 2007
Northridge Middle School
Los Angeles Unified School District
California

* In 2006-2007 California used the California Standards Tests (CSTs) to test students in English language arts and math in grades 2 through 11; science in grades 5, 8 and 10; and history-social science in grades 8, 10 and 11. Middle and high school students also took subject-specific CSTs in math and science, depending on the course in which they were enrolled. The CSTs are standards-based tests, which means they measure how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of California. The goal is for all students to score at or above proficient on the tests.
