takes the time, effort & energy required in the growth of a child intellectually and otherwise to create a very whole individual. The warmth, creativity and patience required to give the proper education of a child is reinforced everyday through our children's experiences at Wesley. It truly helps if you know someone at Wesley for your chances of being accepted seeing as though there are only apx. 220 students and nearly no-one leaves Wesley. They accept 20 Kindergarten students and 20 6th gradeers every year. Go Wesley! We Love you! Read less

When one rates a school, there is so much that they can be critical about. Wesley has so much of it together in comparison with equivalant schools of the same caliber, public or private. There is an emphasis on community here which is one area that every other school we had toured in the Valley or Westside

have failed to even acknowledge. Charichter development is an enormous piece of the puzzle that so many schools do not even recognize as an important component. Our experience with the Academics at Wesley has been very positive, our daughter has become so inetersted in learning and has been taught in very unconventional and effective ways. It's very difficult to get in to Wesley considering it's small size and from what I understand 10 applications for every available space each year, but if you don't try, your children will be missing out. My two children have attended Wesley since kindergarten. While no school is perfect, our family's expenditure of money and time (we've been active volunteers) has been more than repaid in the quality of education, the community ties, and the nurturing our children have received. and into middle school, both are developing into young adults who will have very strong choices for high school and beyond. Our children have very different temperments and learning styles. Each has been addressed with respect, understanding and commitment by their teachers and the administration. Students are known here. Power School empowers students and families to address their academic progress weekly (or daily). The graduates return to the school and are delighted to visit with former teachers. The community is down to earth and welcoming. Read less
