This school is a big let down. At one time it was a California Distinguished School. And now its just sad! Some of the teachers are really great and then there are others who should not even be around children! Even when there are problems a band aid is put on it and no resolution is made, starting at

The principle and her staff do not have the safety of the students in mind. The pick-up/drop-off is an absolute mess. The one and only good thing about Washington are some of the teachers.

I, too, agree with the parking lot chaos. The new Principal/VP plus new staff are much more relaxed compared to last year's staff. There should be cones/more staff w/ common sense out at drop-off/pick-up times. However, this is a problem at all schools. I would like to see more parent involvement

I am just thankful that my daughter is in the Dual Immersion Program and have nothing but positive feedback re: the staff on this program. I do experience discrimination from some parents within this program as well. It's unfortunate that mothers carry on their poor attitudes from their school days versus being better examples to children. Also, can we omit the Attendance Awards? These are the kids that get our children sick. Isn't health issues more important versus schools receiving payment from State? Read less
