We love this school. Transferred in the middle of the school year from another local private school. Our child is so much happier and so is our family. The teachers are amazing - the teachers actually teach in the classrooms and offer their own time for those that need extra help or want to learn
... Read more more. There is a very strong family community that is very welcoming to newbies. There are many opportunities for parent involvement and even more if you ask - in the classroom and out. As far as bullying, I have seen teacher and principal jump whenever there is any mention of someone saying or doing anything that could lead in that direction. My child is safe and happy and learning far more than ever before. Absolutely a place where we can relax and feel our child and family are getting the best out there. Read less

As a recent addition to the St. Joesph's of Mountain View I find the community a breath of fresh air. I have found the teaching staff to be top notch and highly engaged for both remedial and advanced students. Many of the teachers volunteer their own time to help students that are having trouble.

We love St. Joseph. Big kids truly do look after the littler ones. Not only does our daughter love St. Joseph, but the kinder curriculum is solid. The school has a very strong anti-bullying policy. We encourage all parents of prospective students to visit the school and see for themselves.

Classroom aides made little difference. There were some bright spots. The science teacher put in extra time and communicated a love for his subject, as did the art teacher. The computer lab was top-notch and well-maintained. Family nights were a blast. But the worst news was the remedial work our child had to do at the new school. Our child has been much happier and better behaved since we left. Read less

Great school for the medium-to-strong student. Caring parents; diverse in culture; wonderful art and science classes; safe and good after-school care. Most teachers strong, but large class size (upto 35) limits amount of teacher/student interaction, thus making it hard for slower or challanged students.

We are not Catholic, so a decision to join St. Joseph had to be done carefully... While it is nearby, we wanted to make sure that the instruction, philosophy and results made since. Our daughter is completing her 3rd grade year just now and we are very happy with the results. Most of the teaching

Level of parent involvement is reasonable. Though there is some suggested time that parents should get involved in kids' activities, they are not necessarily related to religion. Your child will get religion education, but your parents are not forced to join in. This is specially important with parents
