This school is a model for other schools in the district. I have been going to this school for 7 years, and my experience was outstanding. I will miss the involved teachers, staff, and principal. Springer feels like a second home to the students. A great thing about this school is the fact the teachers ...  Read more

The Springer community is a wonderful one, we are very happy to be part of it. The parents are very kind and involved, but not over the top. The principal is very hands on, and the class sizes are small for a public school. We are new to the school this year, but so far happy with the teachers too.

Why all these stellar reports? Our experience hasn't been great. Most teachers are good, but some really need to go. Especially those that have been teaching forever and can't seem to change their methods to teach this generation of children. Principal isn't the strongest or greatest by far. This ...  Read more

Couldn't ask for a better school, teachers, parents or principal. All combined the learning experience is exceptional. The district is very forward-thinking with the math curriculum (and Khan Academy), the music program is excellent and the community teaching (Project Cornerstone) extends the social ...  Read more

My youngest just finished her last year at Springer and it is a wonderful school. Everything about it was great. The teachers are excellent and I felt the school really fostered a sense of community among students and parents. I am very happy I was able to send my children there.

My three children graduated from Springer School. The teachers are amazing and truly cared about each of my child. When I see the teachers in the neighborhood they still stop and ask how our children are do.! We couldn't ask for anything more!

There is strong parent support in this school community; my child loves the lunch time activities such as Lego club, Art club & Origami club that are run by parents. The music, art and digital art programs are exceptional.

The music program open to all 4th to 6th graders is very well run; the teachers work amazingly well with the kids and the winter and spring recitals are always such a treat. My child learned Scratch Programming during the CSTEM lesson (half an hour a week) too.

The writing program is strong. The kids use Khan Academy in the classroom and at home on top of lectures in the classroom. My daughter likes the Math program and was appropriately placed in one of their 3 lanes, starting from 4th grade. The teachers are responsive to parents' concern and emails promptly ...  Read more

The reviewer below who states this school has "all the special education students" is mistaken. There are special ed classrooms at Covington and Loyola as well. Additionally, there are special education students who are mainstreamed at EVERY school in Los Altos. Our experience at Springer has been outstanding. ...  Read more
