Read more school offers. when one appraoches a teacher or staff with as issue they handle it accordingly but one must also be an involved parent & not expect to have the edicational institute handle insecurities or lack of social skills. i have raised a strong & assertive child & the school is suitable for our families needs and her future success. This is an excellent school! Academics are great. It is a family oriented atmosphere. I attended this school along with my four other siblings and we have all been successful. ... Read more faith. I feel safe when I take my kids to school knowing that they are in good hands. A catholic school education is an advantage for life. It is disappointing that all parent reviews were not high, however I have high regards for this school. Remember discipline starts at home. Parents are the primary teachers of their children. In addition, Mr. Loya and Mr. Lozano have been outstanding mentors and leaders and are constantly making improvements to both the physical school grounds as well as enhancing academic lessons. We are looking for a new school after 7yrs the quality of teaching has dramatically declined. We have had a noticeable turn around in teachers every year. There is favoratism and nepotism amongst the administrative staff & teachers with students. The principal speaks down to the children and the children

The vice principal is a personal friend of the principal so if you are not satisfied with an outcome of a situation forget chain of command. The tuition has gone up every year with out fail. This year is the first year this school has gone to 6 periods, grades 6th-8th (the children no longer stay in home room, they rotate classes/6 periods) and I cant pin point whether the children are struggling the most with the change or the teachers. I am proud to say that besides the good grades my son receives, he has also found god in his heart. He loves his school, his friends and above all his teacher. St Benedicts is a close community. Where's the discipline in this school? Junir high students have no respect for themselves or even staff at this school. I mean, yes, this is a good school with a lot of parent involvement, but they have to crack down on discipline, and that falls on administration.

I appreciate the parent involvement, morning prayer, and how the administration, teachers, and staff truly care for all the children. I strongly recommend this school to anyone who wants their child to have that academic and religious foundation, however, parent involvement is very important, since we are held accountable, which is what makes it work. Advanced Placement
