Our daughter had a wonderful kindergarten teacher named Ms. Davis at GHS. She is firm but kind and kept a large group of kids interested in learnining and attentive. In general all of the K teachers seem very dedicated and the principal is wonderful. The teachers try valiantly to fill in the gaps
... Read more due to the absence of PE, music, art, language and other speciality teachers resulting from the gross underfunding of CA schools. An active parent organization helps supplement their limited resources, so they do a lot with a little. The after-school childcare by Happy Hall is chaotic but enjoyable and caring. The families in our neighborhood have all attended Green Hills Elementary. The parents are highly complimentary about the attention and instruction their children receive. The young adults in the area attend colleges throughout California. Their parents continue to talk of the experiences at Green Hills.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
