My son attended Morello Park from K through 5 graduating this year, 2009. I have nothing but high priase for the Morello Park staff. ... Read more catagory, I only gave 4 stars because, as one other reviewer mentioned, the school should investigate weakness in its security. I won't go in to what I feel the weaknesses are for fear someone will exploit them, but if someone from the school administration wants to contact me, I will be happy to expand on the subject. That said, I am not aware of the school ever having any issues with security for the children. My son thoroughly enjoyed his 6 years at Morello Park and was visibly sad when teh school year ended. Mrs. Spencer was my son's 1st grade teacher. She is a wonderful teacher. I volunteered 1 afternoon a week in the class to assist with Math labs. I found Mrs. Spencer to be a very nice person, patient and very good with the children. I continue to be impressed with the school and staff. To get my son

Morello park is truley one of the best and safest schools around. Morello Park has an excellent staff of teachers, headed by a principal who has wonderful people skills and a caring and cooperative attitude. The campus is only 11 years old and in very good condition. The PTA offers tremendous support to the programs, classrooms, and teachers at the school. Parent

Although many programs have been cut, this school remains a great neighborhood choice. It's tough to get because of demand so plan on spending the night in line for registration! I did and I don't regret it.

Math and reading programs seem to be the latest and the greatest, kid friendly and interesting. Music, PE and Science offered once every 3 days, art is incorporated in to daily class. Parent involvement is very high at this school, enabling extra reading programs. I'm very happy with this school.

This is a great school! A great partnership between parents and faculty. This school houses dedicated teachers, not 'collect the check' type of teachers. Our children will leave Morello Park elementary prepare for the educational challenges that await them.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
