The school is absolutely terrible. The teachers are no help whatsoever, and its so incredibly easy to get lost in the system.

Manhattan Beach Middle School is an exceptional school. The quality of its academic programs is very high. The school's music program is particularly strong but the art program is not well developed.

My daughter entered this year (6th grade) so my experieice is limited, however, that being said; I have had in depth converstations with each one of her teachers and there is not a bad one in the bunch! Wonderful school! MBMS prepares the students for high school with caring, encouraging teachers and administrators. It has a beautiful campus with a very safe environment. The music/band program is unparalleled.
