Great school for kids, a lot of teachers do care about the students, one example is a teacher call MS. Shogan. Also has a great academy like the NMA.

All the 'good teachers' who teach real 'science/math' are reserved for a select few, the others are to take the other awful teachers. If it wasn't for sports, I would've never made it out of there!!

CST* Test Scores

Grade Level:

Test Year: 2007
Venice Senior High School
Los Angeles Unified School District
California

* In 2006-2007 California used the California Standards Tests (CSTs) to test students in English language arts and math in grades 2 through 11; science in grades 5, 8 and 10; and history-social science in grades 8, 10 and 11. Middle and high school students also took subject-specific CSTs in math and science, depending on the course in which they were enrolled. The CSTs are standards-based tests, which means they measure how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of California. The goal is for all students to score at or above proficient on the tests.
