I moved my son from a Private school where he was not getting the help he needed to Gardner's PSM class taught by Mr. Villegas. What a difference!!! My son's self esteem improved exponentially and within a month he knew his numbers, letters, etc.. when he knew none of this coming out of the private
... Read more school. My son will remember this school and his teacher, Michael villegas, for the rest of his life I am sure as it has made such a big difference for him! We also had nothing but great experiences with the VP, Jackie Armstrong. I had reservations on moving my son from a private school to public school, but I would not go back. Gardner Elem, is a great school. I have twins that have attended Gardner starting at pre-K and now they are in 1st grade. I also have a Kinder student. My son attended this school from 2nd grade until 6th grade. I have to say that it was the best experience of his life. I like the diversity of this school. I would commend the principal and the teachers in their devotion to my son's academic growth.

This school is one of the best school so far that I have seen in the District 4 area. The quality of academics is good and they are well planned. Test scores for this school as a whole are high and the kids are very active in the education. They have a special education prgram for pre-school (PSM)
... Read more which is a great program and the teachers and aids are excellent. The teachers for the general classes seem good as well. I have met the teacher for the kindergarden program. The school programs are more academic based and aids are provided for those who fall a little behind to insure they can keep on track. The staff and Vice Principal are wonderful to work with and as if with everything you as a parent need to be involved and the VP welcomes that and does her part to get you answers. Read less

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
