My son, nephew & cousin go Brendwood SMS & I have to say this schoo is great. The teachers give that extra attention that the students need. Yes, some times they give a lot of homework but its a great way to make them responsible.

I am a very cautious mother and meeting my standards is not easy but Brentwood took the cake. I have been at Brentwood since Kindergarten with my sons and I have seen a lot, all of which has been wonderful. Everybody knows everybody, the environment is great, safety is number one, parent involvement

This is the second year at BSM for my two kids and we loved the teachers and we appreciate the care the office staff provide. Both my kids teachers were fantastic last year and really encouraged and challenged them academically. They have very nice teachers this year as well and I look forward to working
... Read more with them to help my kids excel. One thing this school does not have and needs is a PE program. The teachers take the kids out for exercise and team games but it really cannot substitute for a good PE teacher that gives them a regular good, positive and fun workout experience. I'm also disappointed that the music program does not offer instrument instruction. My daughter really wanted to learn, but was told you can only be in the music class if you already know how to play an instrument. Read less

Brentwood Science in one of best school in LA. The teachers are fabulous and the administrator seems to know each student on a personal level. Everyone works really hard to give each child an outstanding education. We love it here.

This school has good or bad. When my older son was at BSM 7 years ago, it was much better than now for everything. Now, I think everything is not fair for everybody. Some people always get good teachers and some get very bad one. All the people who in Booster Club get best oppotunity. I think the school

I think that if the school is rated at 8 is for a reason. I had one of my kids that graudated from brentwood science. He went to paul revere and ever since he has been an honor student. I know that Brentwood may not have the best looking school, but they do have execellent teachers. My daughter goes

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
