Blach is a wonderful school. The academics are good especially with the differentiated tracks in Math. It's clear that the teachers enjoy being at Blach, really respect the principal and therefore provide in turn a teaching community that cares about its students. They don't have the teacher turnover

For overall, They have many good teachers. The school divided into the three groups: very advanced, advanced, standard according to the Califronia middle school standard. I am a 7th grader at Blach. I really like all the teachers we have, the classes are small, the transition from 6th grade to 7th was easy, and the music program is fun. P.E. is okay, the activities are good, and everyone is always involved. Our principal is pretty good and student leadership is fabulous.

Blach is an outstanding school with highly qualified and committed staff and is well-known locally for its excellence in academics as well as music, art and drama. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
