I have a 2nd grader and thus far we have had a great experience. The test scores don't reflect the education my daughter has received. I am a proud parent and involved with the PTA of our wonderful K-8th School. This to me is one of the best small and safe Schools is Long Beach. We have one of the safest Schools in Long Beach thanks to our on site staff and our wonderful Mr. Leach is our School security guards. He works with the students

We just completed our first year at Burcham and my sons kindergarten experience exceeded my expectations. His teacher was amazing, she went out of her way not only teaching academics but also trying to keep kindergarten fun with painting and baking days and a lot of activities to keep the children interested.

I think the combination of a thoughtful teacher and a new, ethusiastic and qualified principal have led this school to greater heights. Both my boys attended this school and after 6 months I pulled them out before their love for education had completely diminished. The children were allowed to bully on the playground and no one stepped up to take responsibility. The education was presented in such a combatlike way that my children started

My son would have his things stolen on a daily basis by other kids and this would create a very uncomfortable situation in which we would have to publicly confront the child to get his things back. Advanced Placement
