Based on reading one of the reviews I had to submit my own. My son and daughter attended this school their entire elementary time. Based on their own choices of developing study habits, they were completely prepared for high school. They also were, not only honor students, but also one was a valedictorian.

I attended and graduated from this school. I loved it. It was a great environment for children and had a good teacher to student ratio. Before my daughter started school, I did not know how to find a good school. A good friend of mine recommended HCS and it is the best thing we could have done for her. The entire staff is loving and caring and it is like a family! The children are challenged daily and are encouraged to learn,learn,learn!!

I am a teacher at HCS and my children also attend this school. I love HCS! As a teacher, I have been very blessed by the family environment at our school. The parents, students, teachers and staff are very supportive. Every morning the teachers gather together to read from God's Word and to pray

My daughters both go to the Preschool and they love it! They have learned so much at this school....they have advanced above and beyond most kids their age. I was a student at this school for 8 years. These are some of the greatest teachers and people I have ever known in my life. If I could have stayed longer I would have. Unfortunately I moved. I regret having to go to a public school. I learned wonderful habits here. I studied for every single test and

The minute I moved to a public school I lost my habits completely, and now I've had to struggle to re-teach myself to be that kid again. To all parents, I tell you to not put your child in this school. The teachers are terrible, not very well trained, the bottom of the barrel especially the junior high teachers. I pulled my kids from this school after it was obvious they were not being helped to succeed at all. When I asked the teachers
... Read more for help, they replied that they didn't tutor and that the problem was the children's problem. I put my children in this school thinking that they would be turned into leaders and become better christians and would get a better education than in public school. Instead, they became disheartened and their education was sorely lacking and their self-esteem took a major hit. The junior high teachers seemed more concerned with collecting a paycheck than teaching. The church is a great church but the school is a disgrace. Read less

... Read more secretary basically runs the school and runs it badly. The principal, Leann, is merely a figurehead of a principal. She leaves the school early or takes days off whenever possible. She's obviously burnt-out. She gives many administrative duties to Lori. The children at the school were wild and out of control and basically got away with murder, since administration bent over backwards for the parents. It was all about the money. Read less
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. AP classes are specific and not to be confused with other higher-level classes such as honors classes.
Before/After School

Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
