i am about to finish up my junior year at LMCHS, i went to a traditional high school for two years, and i found the atmosphere at LMCHS to be much more friendly, not to mention less gang activity. I went to this school from when it was first founded up until the 07 year. My grades definitely went up because of this school. The teachers are friendly and help you out personally, beacuse there are smaller classes. The added bonus of getting college credits and learning to function in college definitely ...  Read more

As a beginning school it has a few things to work out but the college curriculum above high school classes gives the students a head start in the college world. Once they get it straight these high schoolers will get their high school and college diplomas the same year.

* In 2008-2009 California used the California Standards Tests (CSTs) to test students in English language arts in grades 2 through 11; math in grades 2 through 7; science in grades 5, 8 and 10; and history-social science in grades 8 and 11. Middle and high school students also took subject-specific CSTs in math and science, depending on the course in which they were enrolled. The CSTs are standards-based tests, which means they measure how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of California. The goal is for all students to score at or above proficient on the tests.
