Many students end up with first lunch one day and second lunch the next. Furthermore, the focus on test scores in core subjects has led to a complete lack of vocational classes. This is a good school. Good mix of students. Teachers and staff are wonderful. Principal is outstanding. Has had some issues in the past but the environment now is very good. I enjoy the school as well as my student.

its an ok school but i would much rather go to quartz hill high.this schools ain problem is that there are too many people and they use block scheduling. its the most confusing thing you will ever see and the classes are 2 hours long with 3 classes a day and the classes alternate each day . it makes

All three of my children have been students at Lancaster High School. My youngest is currently a junior. Two of my children also attended another more 'prestigious' school within our district during their freshman and sophomore years and they both begged me to transfer them to LnHS. I am so glad that

Overcrowded, difficult to contact Principal and teachers.S.W.A.T. team, police called to school too many times. Violece and crime is now a daily occurance with no info. to parents . If I wasn't there to see first hand to witness 20 or so SWAT members on the roof, sides of buildings. on front lawn and

Overall a very adequate school. The Principal, administrative staff, teachers, and security staff have all shown to take great interest in their students success. The school is overcrowded which lends itself to certain problems. The streets around the school are inadequate to handle the school congestion

This high school has major overcrowding issues. The school has had to double security. Traffic is really bad, thank goodness my kid walks. They do have an excellent AP program, AVID (to get kids college bound), CAMP (art prog.), ROTC & sports. The teachers really do the best they can under the circumstances.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
