My wife and I have four boys. Two of our boys have graduated from Amargosa Creek and they now attend Lancaster High School. Our two younger boys currently attend Amargosa Creek Middle School. All of my boys have enjoyed their classes, I believe that this is due to the teachers are role models for their students, as they dress for success; they are highly motivating, professional and skilled employees. The teachers are also encouraging to their students, teaching them that they can achieve anything. The teachers are also quick to end any unconstructive behavioral issues, so those students who conduct themselves correctly can continue to learn. The school has an outstanding parental involvement as well. The school sports program is second to none. The school demands good grades prior to allowing the student to play on a sports team grades first and sports second. And in closing, we believe that Amargosa Middle School is number one because of the fact that their leader is number one. Mr. Conte leads by example. He is positive, sincere, motivating, encouraging, inspiring, and has the attitude that he wants the best for your student. Even though the school is getting packed full of students, Mr. Conte does a fabulous job at shaking hands with students daily and it is amazing that he knows each and every student by their name. Amazing. What a great school! Read less

My child just start middle school and I must say that compared to the elementary school she attended Amargosa is outstanding. The Principal's involvement and use of the phone message system to keep parents aware of the school is impressive and the PTO seems to be contributing quite a lot to the school.
