This school has excellent teachers, Great staff, Awesome teaching policies. As a student at El Toro High School I just love it, the teachers are so nice... They're very strict about grades and the disciplinary action for those who brake rules is successful. Most students strive to earn excellent grades
... Read more in order to go to college... Most students start in their Junior year and more and more student are in Honors classes. Most freshmen aren't taking Algebra 1 anymore... but Geometry or even Algebra 2, Trigonometry, and Calculus! This school is definitely the best over all in my eyes. Read less

As a parent, neighbor and friend to some graduates of ETHS, this school has an excellent academic and outstanding atheletic program with some of the most gifted athletes and intelligent students. If your son or daughter like to be challenged, then this is the right school. If you do well at this school

Education wise was great. The teacher's are all very nice and helpful. The administration however... not so great. Always looking for the negative and keeping students down. They treat us like children and then punish us for not acting like adult. That is unless you are on the basketball team.

This is a very good high school. The teachers are personally involved with the students and care very much for their growth and education. The only concern is that the school, in years past, has allowed the state funds shortage to cut programs.

The housing prices in this district are worth the quality of the schools. This school has a staff of dedicated, caring teachers and administrators; a huge variety of strong student programs, and some of the best public high school students in the nation.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. Before/After School

Vocation/Technical Curriculum
Vocational and/or technical courses offered within a comprehensive school, usually a senior high school.
Special Education Classes
A school or program within a school that provides services and training to students with moderate to severe mental and/or physical disabilities.
Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
