My daughter has attended this school for three years and will be entering into her fourth year there. The teachers are the best especially Mrs. Kalina. Most are caring, and continue to have great communication with the parents. Administration, teachers, and parents are very involved during school

I have a new student this year at Escalona and we have been very pleased with her growth and her caring teacher. I agree with the last review; the office staff can be very aloof many times and I feel too busy to want to help you. The teachers are wonderful though, we are looking forward to next year.

The teachers are highly qualified &caring; the PTA puts on great programs; the office staff is sometimes helpful, others aloof; the principal is inconsistent; right now all the construction is creating some chaos, but the teaching staff is handling it swiftly, while downplaying their exhaustion.

I currently have one alumni (now in 7th) and one child at Escalona and am very pleased with our experience here. The stellar teachers are very caring and kind, yet maintain a structured classroom environment. There seems to be an unusually high percentage of higher ed. degrees among the teaching staff.

I currently have two kids at Escalona and a third who will start soon. I have been very happy with the school. The principal is great. She is firm and matter of fact but at the same time seems to be able to nuture the student's needs. The teachers are great and really committed to their students. The
... Read more new literacy program seems to be working well and the students raised the API score last year by more than 40 points. The PTA is active and constantly trying to improve the school and the student experience. Overall Escalona is a great school! Read less

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
