GSA is the most exciting option we have as parents, and we can't wait to use their program. One of a kind school and we are very excited to go here! Read less

As a parent of three children I've found that this is the best option for homeschooling that we have. It meets state requirements, the curriculum is supplied for you and the staff is wonderful. If you have any problems all you need to do is ask. We were able to change some of our books to better meet

I just read the post from April and wonder why this parent did not ask for help from the site lead if she was having so much trouble. The staff at both sites where my children have been served have always been open to suggestion and are always asking for ways to help.

We have two boys at GSDA North County and have been absolutely thrilled with the programs. Curriculum availability is sometimes a little slow, but we have always gotten everything we requested. The onsite classes are wonderful, especially for the elementary-aged students.

A really bad choice for my children. They are inflexible, not parent friendly; and want you to do all the work. Disorganized beyond belief. Not Parent friendly. Where are my child's CAHSEE scores? I felt the fight for respect for my children wasn't worth the effort into this place. I had my child
... Read more finish most all his second grade work in less than two weeks after I dis-enrolled so he/she can focus on his/her weak areas. They turned out worse than a regular public school where my constant intervention would not have been necessary and the blame for everything wouldn't have to rest on the family. The new person screwed up both my kids pacing guides / workbooks. Imagine being a highschooler and not getting the right work for a semester and then having someone ride you wanting the work to be done a fraction of the time. Irresponsible. Read less

Greater San Diego Academy North County has the best staff ever! They are so supportive and they go out of their way to serve each and every child and their family. I like to refer to this group of staff as the 'dream team' because I have never seen such a cohesive and collaborative staff.

I have to say that this school has been a tremendous disappointment. We came here because we thought the headmistress/principal and staff woulf support us, but that has most certainly not been the case. The materials offered have been lackluster at best.

AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. AP classes are specific and not to be confused with other higher-level classes such as honors classes.
Before/After School
