My daughter and I love this school. She's just starting second grade and has had great teachers for all 3 years ... and all the other teachers are great as well. She is above her grade level but is challenged and doesn't get bored. Especially in second grade, I believe they'll use different curriculum

Plaza Vista is a great school. The teachers and parents are dedicated to the kids and school. I won't send my daughter to the other APAAS schools although she is qualified for the gifted students program. We are happy with the 'clustered program' that Plaza Vista provides.

Plaza Vista's overall program has been highly accelerated for my kids who were all identified for GATE during their year in third grade (something we had recognized early on), so it was odd to read the previous review. I have been very impressed with the types of learning taking place & with state test scores as they've been higher then some of the schools Irvine calls APAAS and consistently in the top 10 of all schools in the county. My oldest is very successful in her AP classes in high school thanks to P.V. I would encourage parents to put Plaza Vista #1 on their list. Read less
