AE is a good school, the admin and staff are well above average and most importantly the parents are very involved. We have had a great 3rd grade teacher and a 5th grade teacher. Like all public schools sometimes a few teachers get 'tenure' and become 'retired on the job'. That unfortunate but a fact

They have both moved on to the MYP and IB program in the high school and middle school. Both are doing excellent. My 1st grader will
... Read more start at Earhart in September and I am looking forward to working with the awesome 1st grade staff. Many of them were there when my two middle kids attended. ... Read more had a few bad ones as well. I can always tell the first week of school what kind of year I am going to have. As a busy. working mom, a bad teacher can really wreck havoc on my life. I would have given Amelia 5 stars if I hadn't had the frustration of these few teachers. It's too bad we can't grade the teachers. I would love to see the great teachers get special recognition for all of their hard work. A great teacher is a true blessing in my life. Read less

This is a really good school. It's an IB school as well. I really like the fact that the GATE kids were put together in a class of only GATE. My daughter has really excelled in that format. I hope they keep doing that. The teachers are awesome. Love the school.
