We ve been very pleased to see our kids and other students master the subjects of reading, mathematics, language arts, science... In standard tests, such as Stanford Achievement Test Series, the Carden Conservatory average students consistently score in upper quartile and achieve 2 or more grade levels above national peers. Like any parents, we all want a school environment where our kids can excel academically and socially. My grand daughter has been at Carden since Kindergarten. With few exceptions, she has had wonderful, caring teachers who got to know her and how best to teach her. My interactions with staff have been positive and supportive. While Carden may lack the fancy high-tech stuff that local public schools

I am a retired public school teacher. 35 students in a class and an electronic white board do not result in better education; 8 students in a class and plenty of one-to-one time with a teacher do result in better education. The new teachers hired last year and this year have brought a new spirit and a greater commitment to academics. The director is dynamic and professional. My children have been at Carden for five years. We have been very happy. We love the close net community at the school. The education standards at Carden a well above that at the public schools. Carden has hired several highly degreed and young teachers with great enthusiasm. Carden has a fantastic

I had a child in the preschool and will not be returning as well. I admit I was not thrilled about it however; I knew it was only temporary. My child went to other academic preschools before and they always sent his work home everyday (proof that they did work with him) as well as let me know

It makes no sense because when I asked him when did you do this... he could not remember! He was always happy to leave and never wanted to be left! I should have listened to him earlier. They did start with hiring some new teachers last year, they were great. They just need more of them. Because I did volunteer so much I was too embarrassed to let the office know that we would not be returning. They do need a better math program, art program, reading program. My child will not be returning to Carden. I am displeased with the Math program as well as the lack of a science program. This school is too expensive for the program your child gets. I went to a public school to compare and I was very pleased with their standards. The Carden Spelling is lacking

My husband and I have pulled our child out of this school. The school has downsized drastically. We had hoped that with the new owner; the few new teachers he hired last year, there would be change. Please think carefully before you enroll your child. Carefully go over the learning

This is my sons first year at carden. He has never taken Spanish before yet he was in Spanish class with the rest of his classmates who have taken Spanish for many years. Thankfully the Spanish teacher understood and has worked with the both of us and now my son feels comfortable with his Spanish class.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
