I have a senior at SBHS and have to say that this school has made some major strides this year. The students seem more respectful. The teachers are incredibly supportive and all have a positive attitude. The administration is strong and stresses respect and academic achievement. The athletics department
... Read more is one of the best in the tricounty area. The school is huge and spread out but has a strong security department that looks out for the kids. The counseling is there for the students 100%. All administrators and other staff return phone calls and it seems like they all genuinely care the students. The student body is diverse but it seems like every one gets along. School spirit has increased immensely over the last couple of years. I would recommend this school over any charter or private school. Keep up the good work SBHS! Read less

I like this school alot mostly because even though there is alot of people here (and some people say its a zoo all the time) it gets you prepared on how to deal with alot of people you dont perticulary like and most of them you dont know very well... and to me that

Read more is very important. also the school offers many oppertunitys for the middle schollers to start getting involved and getting comfortable with all the many students and facilty members. and even though the school focus alot on sports that can be a good thing because this community isnt the wealthyist and if a student is say good in cross country like me but their parents are poor and they cant afford to go to collage they can get a tootur for free! and get a scollarship to a good collage. ... Read more subject with so many students in the classs. With the summer's heat well over 80, no cooling system, and over 40 bodies producing heat the classroom was often unbareable. There are teachers who care about the students, yet most of them have their favorites. The food, lockerrooms and restrooms need work. Read less

Advanced Placement
