I have two children attending Sea Crest and they love the school. It is the best offering here on the Coast. My children are excited about school and look forward to attending everyday. The program is challenging yet individualized. The children have PE everyday, which sad to say, is not offered at our

I have been at the school for the past three years. With the change in leadership it is heading in the right direction! The Head of School is involved with the kids from when they are dropped off each morning to when they get picked up. The faculty spend time 'teaching' good character skills such

This will be our last year. It is too bad that we stayed too long because the math program in lower grades was not really 'one grade level above', as we were told. In fact recent outside testing proved that the program was low level. Thankfully our child responded well to tutoring but when I think

As another parent said the social climate is challenging and not at all what we expected from a private school with small classes. A red flag should go up when a school has a very high turnover rate in all areas - students, faculty, and administration. SeaCrest's young life has been plagued by turnover, spotty talent in the teacher pool, inconsistency in leadership and parent 'involvement' that is often disruptive. Having experienced

In our experience (left <1yr ago), SeaCrest's math and language arts programs are set such that a student capable of more than standard curriculum is missing an opportunity. Saying the school has a functioning library is a big stretch. Science lab is all but nonexistent in lower grades. Technology program could be stronger. Prospective families should evaluate and decide whether their money might be better spent on a house in a neighborhood with a good public school. Read less
