I am a freshman at Sunny Hills and so far I think that the school is great. At first, I was really nervous about the change from Junior High to High School, but I can tell that the teachers are really trying to make it easier for me. The staff are very nice and polite and the classes are fun and interesting.

As a student here i hate sunny hills the teachers and other students expect perfection and if u arent perfect they get upset with you. I have a 4.4 Gpa and am looked at like i am stupid because i dont have a full class set of ap honors or ib classes. Teachers are for the most part really good but every

I graduated from this school from the class of '05 and it was the best 4 years of my life. Everyday, I will reminisce all the wonderful moments I had in SHHS and how great all the teachers are. The school is a real college prep school from head to toe. The staffs do not breath down your neck a lot
... Read more if you don't turn in your work since it is your own responsibility. The school does not have a designated lunch area so you could eat anywhere you like. The teachers are very qualified, particularly the English teachers. When I took English 101 in college, I found it easier than my 10th grade English class. This school really put me at ease when I entered college. SHHS definitely builds your confidence among other students when you reach college. Read less

My son is the third of my children to attend Sunny Hills High School. My daughters graduated with honors and went on to attend Stanford and Boston College. We have high hopes for my son and feel strongly that Sunny Hills has played a big part in our children's success.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
