I believe the issue with Phoenix is Leadership by Principal. The principal never responds to emails nor takes issues seriously. The answer is 'I will get back to you' or 'I will look into it' It appears that she has a feeling that students will keep coming no matter how she or other teachers deal

As a parent and teacher I was surprised how my son and I were treated. The school has no consideration to staff at all. They cut many corners that parents would hate to hear about. We are very happy with Phoenix. Parents who complain about the uniforms - it is part of teaching kids (and apparently parents) about following the rules. Expect more from your children including responsibility and respect for adults & authority. Phoenix does a good job in this world of self-esteem nonsense & babying kids and horrifyingly rude parents. Watch the way parents speak to staff and you see that staff is amazingly patient. The curriculum is definitely tough and may be too much for some kids. While I feel the teachers at the school are on par for the cost/expectations, the rest of the staff are far below. I can't even begin to say how fustrated I have been about just the lunch program alone. Does the staff pay attention enough to notice that a child isn't eating?? NOPE...does the staff
