... Read more praised Mrs. Lopez and her staff via email. I know scores aren't everything, but you have to be very talented and hardworking to increase your scores that much. No one in the district comes close to that, much less SD county. Besides that, the staff and the teachers seem very sweet. I am really happy with OK and know that the key to continued success is parent volunteers. That is the only thing (and demos) that differentiate OK from the other schools in the district. Read less

... Read more 2 subject honor student. We have seen careful addition of more and more outstanding teachers. Little room for improving this area, this is a phenomenal, motivated staff. Our diversity is relative to where we live and who comes to our school. Neighbors and friends, we are making a great school of it everyday. Sadly gone over the years are a scattered few families with individual issues. Trying alternative schools in hope of improving their own frustrations. Some will come back, and we welcome them. Ocean Knoll is real life, not a product of an overgrown beachtown-mecca. Come see us, you'll love it. Read less

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. AP classes are specific and not to be confused with other higher-level classes such as honors classes.
Before/After School

A school or program within a school that provides services and training to students with moderate to severe mental and/or physical disabilities.
Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
