Laguna Creek High School is an outstanding school. When Cosumnes Oaks High School opened I was really disappointed that my friends' parents sent my friends there because of poor media overexaggerated perspectives on small, unfortunate events. A lot of people complain about student achievement gaps,
... Read more but from what I have seen at Laguna Creek, friendship bonds are really tight and kids encourage each other to try new things, and even bet on who can take the better classes. The teachers are amazing, they care about the students and are very enthusiastic about what they do. If your child isn't achieving their best, you should help them and not complain about the administration, they are doing the best they can. Also, what goes on outside the school should be of little concern, why should a few student choices matter to the overall reputation of the school? I love LCHS! -Bethany Miller Read less

I feel the school has a lack of leadership at the top. Too many kids just allowed to get away with too much. As parents we pay for too many administrators who just don't get the job done. I am sending my middleschooler to Consumes Oaks to get away from LCHS.

My son has done well here. The teachers, especially in the MPTA program are outstanding and caring. Have only had a few issues. Some of the students are disruptive and need more discipline at home, but the school seems to handle them well.

This school is not a good path to success for your child. There are students that smoke in front of the school entrance every morning, unless of course, they are expelled. This school has a high number of poor attendance. Test grades stink more than their restrooms do.
