i am a junior at arroyo right now and i have to say, i really like it. all but one of my teachers are great. they are all amazing teachers. arroyo offers a program called AVID and i have been taking this class since 7th grade. the main focus of AVID is to help prepare you for college. we get tutored

I currently attend Arroyo , and I follow the footsteps of 3 older siblings. I will be a sophomore this year, and I have nothing but positive remarks about Arroyo. All the teachers are kind and attentive. If there is a problem that a student is having, the staff kindly takes time out of their schedule
... Read more to stay after school for some extra tutoring. There isn't a single problem that isn't addressed, whether it be lack of money for school supplies or a waste of water at lunch. Arroyo puts it's students first and that is what makes it special. The curriculum, not the campus or the extra activities, is top priority. Their food is actually good, not that nasty sloppy joe stuff that get shipped to the schools, but, we recieve food hot and delicious. I attended as a student and now have 3 kids there. Two of them recently graduated. We have been through many teachers there and a few of them are the unforgettable kind, but then on the other hand they do have some who aren't very well in their career of choice. Usually the school is wonderful they

well i go to arroyo and as far as teaching goes, arroyo is up there in the top. although there are a few mishaps about the campus, overall it is a very good place to go to every morning at 7:56 am. i think if you wanna go to college in the nearby future, arroyo is the school to go to.

My son will be in 9th grade this year (2007-2008) and prior to enrolling him, we visited the campus serveral times to ensure our son would be exposed to top education and that he would also have great choices for extra curricular activities as well. We met with the principal and a number of the teachers

I have nothing but high marks for the excellent leadership of the Principal (Mr. Richardson) and his staff are very professional, well informed and the school's test scores and graduating class ratios tell the story that the students are getting a top notch educational experience. All the programs in arroyo are great. I greatly enjoy the how they make the students there look forward to college. Many of the counselors have weekly meeting with some students to help them prepare for college. I think arroyo high school is a great high school for a student who has high hopes for entering

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
